a few words on family

At CUPS, we continually strive towards building the capacity of our participants. The economic downturn made it certain that now, more than ever, is an extremely important time to ensure that our programs produce the greatest returns to our participants. In combination with our work on strengthening our internal system and structure, it became clear that evidence-based programming, rigorous data collection, and evaluation was the right direction to head towards.

We can now say that over 80% of our programs are evidence-based and tied to logic models, program evaluation is a continuous process that drives change, and our credibility and professionalism as a not-for-profit organization has skyrocketed. We have attracted new leadership, partnerships, and research requests from external agencies.

This step towards research and evaluation has improved our capacity as an organization to help our participants discover the tools they have within themselves to fish for a lifetime.
